Privacy policy

Kitbag respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have.

What we collect

When you place an order we collect your name, email address, billing details and the contents of your order. When you browse the store we automatically collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information and the pages you view.

How we use it

We use your data to deliver your purchase, send order confirmations and download links, provide support, prevent fraud, and comply with our legal and tax obligations. We use it for marketing email only if you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time from any email we send.

Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary with the services that run the store: Shopify (hosting, checkout and order management), our payment processor (to take payment — we never see or store your full card details), and our digital delivery provider (to send your files). We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

International transfers

These providers may store or process your data outside India. Where that happens we rely on the provider's own recognised safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as required by Indian tax and accounting law. You can ask us to delete anything not covered by that requirement.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop using it for marketing. Email shivam@cogniwise.ai and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Payments are processed over an encrypted connection by a PCI-compliant provider. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us sensitive information over unsecured channels.

Cookies

The store uses cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences and measure traffic. You can block cookies in your browser, though the cart may stop working if you do.

Children

The store is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of majority in their country. If you believe a child has given us their data, contact us and we will delete it.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, contact us first and we will try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The current version is always the one published on this page.
